ANLP 2013 Online Application Form PDF Print E-mail



The aim of the programme is to assist the development of future leaders in the field of human nutrition in Africa. Emphasis will be on understanding  the qualities and skills of leaders, team building, communication and nutrition information in a broader context.  The long-term aim of the ANLP is to meet the demands for leadership in Africa to solve its nutritional challenges.

The programme is designed for individuals who have experience in various fields of nutrition. Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate qualification, postdoctoral fellows and candidates with comparable working experience in the broader human nutrition sciences, studying or working in Africa. We are also actively seeking applications from francophone and lusophone countries.

The programme is organized by a group of leading African nutritionists in close collaboration with several international organisations and societies.

From the applications received, thirty (30)  candidates will be selected by an international selection committee to attend each seminar. Remember that the process is a competitive one - please take care when completing your application - incomplete applications will not be considered

Fellowships:

In addition to the NFP fellowships the ANLP organization can provide a small number of partial course grants. In principle we only provide partial support. Those interested should fill out and submit the Grant application form . Letters of recommendation:

Please ask two people who know you professionally (e.g. your MSc or PhD supervisor, research leader, head of department or employer) to email letters of recommendation to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

The letters must be received by the closing date for applications.

Without these letters your application will not be processed
